Hans is a critically acclaimed, award-winning, creative director with almost 20 years of experience building brands. He has solid experience creating and managing teams that create marketing ideas that build strong brand identities, connect with consumers, and generate results.  He is an outmost expert on all stages of the creative process from conception to post-production.  Hans incorporates a blend of creative and business problem-solving abilities with solid national/international branding experience to deliver on-target, impactful communications in broadcast, print, direct mail, web, and interactive media. He has experience working on all major product categories, from packaged goods to entertainment - in both domestic and international markets.

Hans started his career in Chile, where he served as art and creative director for some of the largest and most sophisticated firms, including Lintas Worldwide, Ogilvy, TBWA, BBDO and Leo Burnett. He then took his capabilities to a higher level, moving to the U.S. to work for RLR Advertising & Marketing; at RLR he led creative development for all retail, promotional and branding initiatives for all agency clients and established creative processes within the department. He was instrumental in winning new business pitches for L.A. Care Health Plan, Andrea Shoes and Chef Merito. He created the L.A. Care Health Plan Orange icon, which has become the embodiment of the company’s health care symbol externally as well as internally. The re-branding campaign in Spanish and English strengthened the brand positioning and yielded significant call volume from the first day it aired.  He also led development of effective integrated campaigns for Verizon Wireless in the West and Midwest Areas and spearheaded integrated advertising campaigns that increased attendance at the Los Angeles Zoo to record levels, even during reconstructions efforts. Campaigns under Hans’ leadership have doubled brand awareness for the zoo, making it rated as one of the top 10 attractions in LA.

He also had senior creative roles at Saatchi and Saatchi Connill and McCann Casanova Pendrill where he worked on some of the most recognized brands including T-Mobile, Nestlé, General Mills, CA Lottery, and Nature Valley, among others. Since then, he moved on to start The Ant Society, successfully leading the agency to serve several brands in the automotive, healthcare and CPG categories, including Molina Healthcare, Chef Merito Seasonings, KIA Automotive Carson Dealership Network, First Five and Heal the Bay.
